When it comes to number of driving schools, the city of Manila holds that title. Driving schools in Manila are like mushrooms that you can find in almost every corner of the the city. This is a very hit business since many people now are driving in the street because most of them own their own car. But among these driving schools there is one that stood above all of them, the Mikey's driving Schools Incorporated. They have a very good reputation in this industry and they are the pioneer of the driving schools in the city that's why many people are enrolling in their schools.

I was once also enrolled in their school sometime last year and I would say that they are very good. The lessons are very comprehensive and easy to understand. They made the whole course easy for us and they succeed on that. I was very lucky because my driving instructor was Mr. Kim. He is the best instructor in the school as what my colleagues said. On the driving range, we use a manual BMW 325i for the practice vehicle (I think its very expensive to be a test vehicle) and it went very smooth. Mr. Kim was very good in guiding me throughout the course and very patient too. In less than a week, I already learned to drive on my own and after a week, I already got my driver's license. Thanks to Mr. Kim passion for teaching that I got in this position.

There is one time in my driving experience that I almost got into an accident. The car in my front suddenly stop for unknown reasons but thank God that I hit the brakes immediately. Then I remember one important reminder that Mr. Kim taught me that in driving, you must be always defensive and not in offensive mode. Meaning be always vigilant to your surroundings and always give way to others rather than do things that may start some problems in the road. Its been three years now since the day I learn to drive. I'm planning to teach driving lessons and share my experiences to others by either applying in Mikey's driving school or to start my own. I may consider applying first for the Mikey's so that I can gain more experience in driving school then after sometime, I will start my own school too but definitely not in the same city as Mickey's but in my hometown.
