Driving lessons prices have sky rocketed in my city, I think it's a result of the growing economic crisis. They must not be getting enough customers to pay their bills now and the outcome is raising driving lessons prices in addition to the shorter classes. Before you would get at least 3 weeks of lessons and right now the schools I found are only offering 2 weeks and at almost double the cost! I don't know how safe the roads will be now that young drivers are being taught to drive in less time and since most parents can't even seem to afford the driving lessons prices their kids are left to lear about driving from books. Speaking as a parent of teenagers I know that book learning tends to not appeal to teens. My kids learn best through visualization and hands on experience.
Well, now if I am unable to find a school with fair driving lessons prices for my kid I may have to give up the thought of him driving an auto and get him a motorbike. Which scares me when you think of all the horror stories that you here about motorbike accidents. I don't think I can handle the thought of getting of phone call from the near by hospital saying my son was involved in an accident. What do I do? He wants to drive and I want him to too, but unless I rob a bank or magically win the lottery I do not under any circumstances see that happening.
Two weeks after I broke the unfortunate news of not being able to afford the lessons to my son a sudden spot of hope appeared. My son reveled he could get a job working for his best friends dad at his hardware shop. He already offered the job to my son when he had heard my kid needed the lessons but couldn't afford to get them. Now he can get the lessons and we have already made an appointment with the dsa to arrange for his permit. When he gets the permit we can call the school that we decided to use and arrange to get the lessons as soon as possible. My son is so excited, he begged his friends dad to let him do something in return for giving him a job. His boss told him to just help get his son to and from school everyday and they would be even.
