It's Saturday morning and Kristi comes running into her parents room and wakes them up all excited saying she wants to go out driving before she starts drivers ed. Steve gets up and tells her to get into the car and get ready. Mandy tells Steve that she's going back to sleep as Kristi gets into the car and buckles up. Hurry daddy! Hurry! Steve gets into the car and makes sure Kristi is buckled up first without asking and says OK start the car. Kristi and Steve goes out driving for the last hour of driving so she puts in her 40 hours of driving with an legal guardian. When they got back home Mandy asks Steve how much the driving lessons cost? Kristi overheard them and said that it's $50 and Kristi is trying to find how much driving lessons cost for a course that's just for women. Kristi told her mom that the driving lessons cost $70 and Mandy told Kristi no that it's senseless to take a course just for women that costs $20 more. OK says Kristi thought i would just try she says laughing. Monday is here, Steve and Mandy takes Kristi down to the license bureau for her take her drivers test and they go to pay so Steve asks how much the driving lessons cost just to be sure and the lady tells Steve that it's $35 we are having a discount for today and Steve was perfectly fine with that. The instructor told Kristi that you will do the driving test first then the maneuverability last so Kristi gets ready to take the driving test and she goes on the road 15 minutes later she comes back with the instructor and starts the maneuverability and she does that like she's been driving for years. The instructor told her parents she past just fine and she can get her license. Kristi is excited! She gets her picture taken and now has her license finally! They get home and Steve starts to look up insurance groups to compare theirs with a 3 car plan to just Kristi going on her own plan and it's much cheaper to go on our plan Steve told Mandy so they do that and then tells Kristi lets go out for a celebration to eat somewhere and you can drive Kristi. Steve and Mandy tell Kristi which way to go and then they lead her right to a car dealership for the real surprise. Kristi is so ecstatic that she could cry she's so happy and they pick out a nice car for Kristi.
