For the last two hours I have been driving around New York City with my sister that is documenting our road trip on her IPOD as I in turn take the driving seat and waste all my petrol money on a pointless sight seeing trip. I was forced to take my sister out for a drive as she is originally born and raised down in Texas and I just recently moved to NYC for college. She has been so excited about coming here I felt almost forced to make her trip a memorable one. I just gave her some simple guidelines when she arrived last night and that was not to go outside at night alone because it wasn't safe and never take the subway alone even it's a cheap option.

If my sister had a driving license I would be more than willing to lend her my car when she needed it but she just doesn't have the energy to get started and so I am stuck with being her private designated driver. I keep telling her that there are cheap driving lessons everywhere these days and most places even offer student discounts if you show valid ID. Trying to be the helpful big brother doesn't always work especially when it comes to trying to give guidance to by little sister. Before I forget my name is Daniel Baker and I am now studying at a very exclusive private college in downtown Manhattan where I study marketing and have so far been getting good grades. My brain is spinning around like an old motor with information that I will soon be losing my mind.

Going back to getting my sister into taking a few cheap driving lessons to get her license is an old dog that I have been beating for far too long with her. All she keeps telling me is "Daniel there are no cheap driving lessons, Daniel there are no cheap driving lessons". I guess in two weeks when she goes back to Texas I won't have to put up with her stubborn behaviour and negative outlook on everything. The next time I will see my sister will probably be back home in Texas when we all gather for our traditional thanksgiving dinner where my father usually ends up getting ridiculously drunk and ends up making a complete fool of himself and embarrassing my mother until they both start arguing. I can't wait.
